What Matters Most
This busy family law practice group is growing and needs to add a proactive Family Law Legal Assistant to their staff to support a group of thriving attorneys known to be kind, hardworking, and excellent communicators.
You’ll work in tandem with a talented family law paralegal who will show you the ropes and welcome you to the team. Your responsibilities will range from client contact to case management. This will include conducting new client intakes, maintaining case and client files, managing attorney calendars, and docketing deadlines. Strong written communication skills are crucial here, as you’ll draft and proofread pleadings, requests for production, memos, and correspondence. Your familiarity with local court rules will be essential as you e-file with Oregon state courts. You’ll bill for your time without the pressure of set expectations.
This team is seeking someone congenial, detail-oriented, and great at keeping up with shifting priorities. If you have solid organizational skills and know how to be both patient and persistent as the right hand of a busy team, you’ll do great here!
After a training period, you’ll have the potential for a hybrid schedule with 3-4 in-office days each week. You’ll enjoy your in-office days in the firm’s swanky new offices working alongside supportive and collaborative teammates.
