This award-winning national firm is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to lead their Portland office. In this role, you’ll utilize your experience managing mid-size law firms as you collaborate with leadership to maintain the firm’s supportive culture and facilitate operations.
As the primary point of contact for your colleagues at the Portland office, you will be vital in ensuring that everything is running smoothly. No two days will be the same, as your responsibilities will involve a blend of people management, operations, and light bookkeeping. You’ll work closely with the CHRO, CPO (Chief People Officer), and Portland Office Managing Director, as well as with all core administrative teams at the firm, including Finance, IT, Marketing, and HR. They will value your collaborative spirit and ability to make sound decisions and problem solve. Previous legal support experience will help you advise and mentor the staff of paralegals and legal assistants.
You’ll be essential in creating an engaging work environment that encourages staff to make the firm their long-term home, with ample support and opportunities for growth and development.
The position is open due to an internal promotion. Your predecessor will be a valuable resource during your onboarding and will be a phone call away in the firm’s Seattle office.
The role is primarily in-office with some WFH flexibility on occasion, after your first 90 days at the office.
