**Key Responsibilities**
As an Aircraft Engine Technician at Bombardier, you will:
Adhere to our General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and/or Hangar positions)
Comply with Environmental/Health/Safety policies and procedures
Participate in 5-S activities
Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
Remove/install/replace aircraft engines and accessories
Operate ground support equipment
Assist with off-aircraft component repair
Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations
**Requirements**
You must have:
- An Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
- At least 5 years of experience on heavy aircraft maintenance
- Previous experience in A/C turbine engine maintenance
- The ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal form on aircraft status
- Previous experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred)
- Tug qualified (preferred)
- Forklift qualified (preferred)
- Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred)
