Bomberger’s Store, a trusted family-owned home improvement retailer in Lititz, is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Flooring and Cabinets Purchasing and Billing Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As the supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the purchasing and billing processes for our wide range of products, ensuring seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Orders floor covering materials for scheduled jobs by performing the following duties:
- Reviews new work orders and determines whether items can be assigned from stock or need to be ordered.
- Creates and enters SKU’s for any new items needed for quotes or work orders.
- Review To Buy List and compare needed materials with inventory on hand. Checks To Buy List items against work order notes for accuracy; follows up with estimator or salesperson as necessary; creates purchase orders for needed items.
- Completes purchase of materials from suppliers by phone, email, online or EDI. Enters reference number and backorder notes on purchase order; notes any backorder dates on purchase order for Scheduler.
- Meets with outside sales representatives to review new products, pricing and programs.
- Creates and calculates new price lists of products as needed; updates RFMS with new pricing.
- Makes sure product files are kept up to date and makes necessary adjustments.
- Makes comparison of pricing on material invoices with purchase order receiver; approves invoices for payment.
- Follows up on back ordered materials that have not been received.
- Maintains record of credits from suppliers.
- Assists salespeople by answering questions about products and pricing.
- Adjusts and computes floor covering inventory totals at year end.
- Supervises activities of the Order Processors including receiving and costing inventory.
- Creates sale pricing based on promotional pricing from suppliers.
- Checks stock on items for salespeople and estimators.
- Orders replacement materials.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Acts as a back-up to Order Processors.
- Oversees the billing process.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 2-3 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to utilize technology to gain efficiency.
- Ability to work with interruptions.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to develop a professional rapport with a variety of samples.
- Ability to operate in multiple ERP systems.
Requirements:
Full Time Availability.
High School Diploma/GED
1-3 years related experience and/or training
