Bomgaars is seeking friendly, outgoing individuals with Cashier experience. Cashier positions offer an opportunity to also work on the sales floor, be a productive team member, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
· Cashier experience preferred
· Ability to multi-task
· Detail oriented
· Clear and concise communication skills
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
· Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Must be available to work flexible schedules – days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome customers
· Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit cards, and checks)
· Scan, bag items, and issue receipts for customers
· Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
* Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
· Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
* Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
· Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required
