Bomgaars is seeking motivated, customer service oriented individuals wanting summer employment. Sales Associate positions available in the Lawn & Garden department.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Product knowledge
- Willing to work outside for extended periods of time as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Freight handling/Forklift operation varying weather conditions
- Sales/Stocking
- Maintain the nursery area (watering, fertilizing, and repotting as needed)
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit/debit cards, and checks)
- Assure department is clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting customers with product selection and load outs
- Handling phone calls
*Pre-employment drug screen required
