Bon Secours Southside Internal Medicine in Petersburg is Adding one MD due to GROWTH of the practice!
- 2 MD’s – 2 APC currently
- Full time position – M-F 8a-5p preferred
- 100% outpatient – no hospital responsibility
- 40% adult, 60% geriatric
- Call is 1 weekend every 9 weeks, and an average of 4 days per month.
- Average patients per day – 17-20 – after ramp up period
- All adult / geriatric patient panel
- EPIC EMR - telehealth / evisits through MyChart
- 1 : 1 dedicated support by CMA or LPN
- Diabetes Educator in Practice
- See patients for scheduled appointments (sick visits, routine follow-ups, hospital follow-ups, pre-op medical clearance), refill medications, follow-up with patients on labs / imaging studies with assistance of LPN / CMA, document encounter and billing in EMR and close encounter same day. Sign home health orders and other patient correspondence as needed.
- Occasionally precepting med students from Liberty University
