What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Support Specialist (Full-Time) position at Bond County Health Department?
Bond County Health Department is seeking a full-time Family Support Specialist in their Healthy Families Program. The Family Support Specialist provides high quality and comprehensive services to children and families enrolled in the Healthy Families Program. Services are available to expecting families and their children, ages 0 - 3 years of age, and provided in homes, shelters, transitional housing, or wherever a family calls home.
Associate's degree in Human Services, Child Development, Psychology, Education or related field required or two years of related experience providing services to children and families. Bachelor's degree in above mentioned fields preferred.
Must understand the social and economic challenges of the service area and be familiar with the community resources available for families in Bond County and parts of Madison County. Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle required. Ability for travel to Springfield for multiple trainings a must.
Full-time position is 35 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
Starting Pay: $20 per hour
