About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Director to lead the medical operations of our Clinic. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring patients receive a high standard of care and that Clinic team members work collaboratively in a positive workplace environment.
You will partner with your Clinic Manager and report to the Regional Director of Operations to ensure the holistic success of your Clinic. In addition to leadership duties, you will fulfill the responsibilities of an Associate Veterinarian.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality veterinary care by all team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Clinic Manager to deliver an excellent client experience.
- Mentor and develop the skills of your team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent).
- DEA licensure and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if needed for all states for clinics under supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
