What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installation Technician position at Bone Dry Roofing?
Join a great company! We are looking for a Solar Installation Technician to fill an opening immediately in the Indianapolis area.
The qualified Install Technician will have Solar Installation background with 3 years of relevant work experience.
Your primary responsibility is to represent Bone Dry Solar with the highest degree of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity while providing our customers with respect, honesty, and the highest level of customer service.
\n- Plan PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions
- Measure, cut, and assemble the support structure for solar PV panels
- Install solar modules, panels, and support structures according to building codes and standards
- Connect PV panels to the electrical systems
- Commission and test PV systems
- Perform routine PV system maintenance
- Tie in Electrical - Interconnection
- Install Solar Battery systems
- 3 years of prior Solar Installation experience required.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of an outdoor job.
- Valid driver's license (non negotiable)
- Pass a background check
- Electrical licensing a plus
- Military service a plus
- $20 - $35 per hour commensurate with experience
