We’re seeking an onsite Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for: analyzing existing business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement, and designing technology solutions to optimize efficiency by gathering requirements from stakeholders, developing functional specifications and overseeing the implementation on new systems or enhancements to existing ones this will include end user training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with state and federal compliance guidelines as well as organizational policies and procedures. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and gather detailed requirements for new and/or improved business systems and integrations.
- Work with executive team members to define business requirements and systems goals and resolve business systems issues.
- Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
- Conduct research on software and systems productions to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
- Create detailed documentation including end user manuals, diagrams and system flowcharts and data models.
- Design and perform service and security audits, system backup procedures and other recovery processes.
- Server Integration to include database, email, print and backup servers.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory systems and ensure safety standards.
- Conduct system testing to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met.
- Track systems performance and identify areas for future optimization.
- High degree of self-motivation
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years proven work experience
- 10 plus year proven work experience may substitute for a degree.
- Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
- Exceptional Analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Proven Project Management Skills
- Proven work experience with NetSuite, SPS Commerce preferred.
