What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Shift Slice Relief Operator position at Bongards' Creameries?
Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as a Relief Operator on our processed sliced cheese line.
Job Duties
- Must be able to learn and perform safely all machine operator and general labor positions associated with the slice line. All SOP’s must be signed off 4 months after training begins.
- Will provide relief for break periods.
- Will fill in for any and all types of absences or leaves.
- Must be capable of filling in for lead people.
- Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
- Will perform sanitation duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.
Other requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
- Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines.
Physical capabilities
- Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 45 pounds
- Must be able to lift and carry frequently 40 pounds.
