Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- test and submit backflow devices
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with irrigation systems, including leaks and malfunctions.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation and repairs.
- Assemble components of irrigation systems according to specifications.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their irrigation needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in irrigation system installation or maintenance is preferred.
- Strong backflow knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot backflow issues effectively.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Experience in remodeling or maintenance person services is advantageous.
- Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
