Bonita Bay Community Association is seeking an experienced IT Administrator. This position will work with all employees and must enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously. Must be a positive and contributing team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality of all company assets and employee records accessed during course of work. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting all end users by resolving IT problems, work side by side with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and help deliver training.
- Ability to work independently, manage IT tasks while ensuring end user productivity and satisfaction.
- Handling the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, particularly multi-user computers such as network server.
- Ability to work collaboratively with third party vendors to ensure IT infrastructure redundancy.
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to inquiries, diagnose problems, and guide users through the resolution process.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network equipment, including switches, routers, and wireless access points. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist with network configuration.
- Implement and manage data backup systems to protect against data loss. Facilitate data recovery procedures when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain IT security protocols, including firewall settings, antivirus updates, and user access controls, to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure from security threats.
- Manage A/V for internal and external meetings and events.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and security protocols. Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users. Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred. Must have a clean driving record and FL driver’s license.
