Job Summary
Under the direction of the principal or an assistant principal, provide educational, behavioral, career and vocational counseling to individuals and small groups of students in a secondary school setting to assist students in understanding and seeking solutions to academic, social, or emotional problems and issues and to serve as a resource pertaining to instructional methods and techniques, student behavior management strategies, and welfare and attendance problems and concerns and to do other related functions as required.
