About the Role:
Bonnell Aluminum is actively seeking a results-oriented Division Financial Analyst who will report to the Division Controller in the Newnan, Georgia – Corporate Office. The Division Financial Analyst will be responsible for key accounting and financial planning functions as well as supporting the overall Bonnell business. Highly motivated and team-oriented, this person will possess an excellent knowledge of U.S. accounting practices. The Division Financial Analyst will have the ability to balance detailed transactional work with financial analysis and reporting.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Responsible for Fixed Asset and Capital project accounting and SOX requirement
- Prepare and manage the yearly budget process in coordination with our 5 manufacturing plants.
- Prepare key monthly operating reports to help the organization analyze financial data, monitor performance, and assist in decision making.
- Prepare weekly forecasting reports for monthly performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis along with appropriate Financial Statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for our parent company Tredegar.
- Perform month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, resulting in timely and accurate financial reports for both internal and external users.
- Support Sox compliance by properly performing assigned Sox controls.
- Assist with the coordination of the development, design and implementation of consistent accounting and finance processes and procedures for your areas of responsibility.
- Bank Financing Reporting as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with accounting experience in multi-entity manufacturing organizations.
- 2-4 years of accounting/financial reporting experience required, including knowledge of GAAP and previous experience in SOX compliance activities.
- Strong communication (oral and written), analytical, organization, planning and project management skills.
- Advanced level proficiency with Excel, Word, and accounting-related software.
- ERP system experience. AS400 experience is a plus. Currently using JD Edwards.
- Ability to identify and implement process and other improvements, partnering with others as needed.
