The TSLOTS Operator I is an essential part of the manufacturing team and ensures the flow of finished products that are necessary for the TSLOTS business to be successful. The TSLOTS OP I will consist of all functions related to material handling, packing, assembly, and fabrication of TSLOTS parts.

Bonnell Aluminum is North America’s premier manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions. We manufacture mill finish, anodized, painted and thermally broken aluminum extrusions. Our press size ranges from 1,550 to 5,500-tons.
We produce large diameter extrusions requiring high-quality surface finish up to 16 inches in circle size. Fabricators and distributors use our extruded profiles in various applications: curtain walls, storefronts, light to heavy commercial and institutional windows, walkway covers, interior architectural products, photovoltaic panels, solar collectors, heat sinks for L.E.D. lighting, shower enclosures, hurricane protection products, automotive, light trucks, recreational vehicles, and industrial machinery.
We are headquartered in Newnan, Georgia. We have manufacturing operations in Newnan, Georgia; Carthage, Tennessee; Niles, Michigan; Clearfield, Utah; and Elkhart, Indiana.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Operate a fork-lift as required.
- Verify that all metal is packed properly and adequately banded.
- Tag each bundle with packing tag.
- Record all data on required paperwork or in EPICS.
- Keep work area clean and safe.
- Measure part length and verify that they meet the requirements of the shop order.
- Visually inspect parts for surface defects. (Dents, Scratches, blisters, die lines, streaks)
- Understand the difference between using variable and attribute gages to check parts.
- Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off machines (when necessary).
- Operate a finish saw per saw OPI Job Description.
- Perform all required quality and equipment checks.
- Responsible for all final cuts to length processes for the TSLOTS Department.
- Verify all saw setups for accuracy.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must also pass a skills-based test.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively; self-motivated; self-starter.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
- Must pass a company background check and drug screen.
