The Sales Manager position at Bonnett Manufacturing Group is a critical role in driving customer growth and key relationships within our sheet metal operations.
This multi-location manufacturer of high-precision sheet and machined metal components serves diverse industries with dedicated Account Managers and rigorous Quality Control. We continue to drive innovative and creative solutions to help solve our customers' greatest production challenges.
The Sales Manager is responsible for executing customer development strategies, managing and cultivating relationships with key customers, developing and executing sales processes, on-boarding new parts and programs, and monitoring and driving key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement customer revenue strategies to achieve company goals along with expanding relationships with assigned accounts.
- Successfully target and on-board new customer projects and part numbers.
- Manage legacy customer books of business and develop growth strategies to meet company revenue goals.
- Develop customer level meeting and business review cadence across assigned accounts.
- Review customer trends to forecast customer revenues in support of the monthly budgeting process.
- Provide industry and customer specific data related to new technologies, products, and market trends that emerge within customer base.
- Develop customer incentive plans that align with growth and profitability targets.
Customer Relationships Development:
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships with key decision makers within assigned accounts.
- Lead price negotiation discussions for new and legacy part number contracts.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Performance and Tracking:
- Monitor sales pipeline within CRM platform.
- Develop and track key performance metrics for new quotes, pipeline, bookings, revenues, new part numbers and other key measurements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with all department leaders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with team members to develop customer presentations, social media posts and other marketing materials that align with company strategy.
- Participate in continuous improvement events in support of company and customer initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related fields.
- 1-3 years minimum of related experience.
- Excellent interpersonal ability and skills.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and tools.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with travel of up to 25%.
- Office-based, with flexibility within travel schedule.
- Individual contributor role.
