General Purpose
Perform routine administrative and complex clerical duties as needed to assist in digitizing and maintaining official county records. This position is responsible for scanning ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes, reviewing scanned documents for accuracy, making necessary corrections, and republishing updated PDFs.
This is a temporary position, expected to end upon completion of the project. The ideal candidate should have a flexible, part-time schedule based on departmental needs.

Work under the supervision of the Information Systems Manager.

Essential Functions
Scan historical and current ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes into digital format.
Review scanned documents for accuracy and completeness; use Adobe Acrobat Pro to make corrections and ensure clear, readable documents.
Organize and maintain digital files according to county record-keeping policies, ensure digitized records are properly archived and accessible for public and internal use.
Collaborate with county staff to verify document accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Ability to maintain regular, reliable patterns in work product and attendance according to Bonneville County's expectations.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office, and general computer use; strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct document errors; good organizational skills and ability to manage digital file systems; interpersonal communication technique; modern office practices and procedures; alphabetical and numeric filing and documenting; English composition, spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.; standard office equipment operation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, learn and understand in a short period of time; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and establish effective working relationships with employees throughout the organization, and co‑workers; work independently and deal effectively with stress caused by work load and time deadlines.
3. Work Environment:
Work is performed in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, including occasional lifting of document files and office equipment up to 50 pounds as well as, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, and seeing. Common eye, hand, finger dexterity is required to perform essential functions. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, and guided problem solving. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
