The Accounts Receivable Specialist job in Lewiston, Maine is responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effective training for departmental staff. You’ll have a solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. This is a full-time, long term position.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications :
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting / Business Administration preferred; 2-5 years of relevant experience may substitute.
- Experience with accounts payable software preferred, Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Ability to type 40 WPM
- Ability to lift / carry up to 30 pounds frequently; must be able to navigate stairs while carrying equipment
- Attitude : Self-motivated and adaptable to changing regulations
- Ability to work in an office environment
- Must pass pre-employment debarment background checks
