Forklift Operator Responsibilities :
- Responsible for operating a forklift in the warehouse and production areas. Must be able to drive backwards as well as forward.
- Prior to shift start, ensure propane tanks are filled, forklift equipment is properly blown out, and all fluids are checked.
- All raw materials are to be stacked in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Re-stacks and bags returned to the system must be worked on daily and recorded.
- Junk pallets are to be stacked and put in their proper place until they can be disposed of.
- Clean up the warehouse at the end of the shift.
- Move and wrap completed products.
