We are a busy, customer service oriented, professional Family Wellness Chiropractic office with an opening for a front desk team member. We are looking for an Upbeat, Optimistic and Driven person to join our team. Our office is dynamic, growing, busy, and the work we do is VERY rewarding.
We offer a fun loving and inspiring work environment with a 4-day work week. Insurance experience is preferred but not necessary.
Typically, you’ll work between 20-30 hours/week with Fridays and weekends off. This position has potential to become full time in the future, if desired, as we continue to grow.
Office Hours:
Monday and Wednesday: 7:00am - 4:30pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Primary Duties Include:
*Providing the HIGHEST level of feel-good customer service to every patient, every time. Greeting patients with a smile as they enter and a friendly goodbye as they leave our office.
*Answering telephone calls (with a smile), schedule appointments, handle enquires and take messages with the help of our office
*Coordinate with doctor and other team members about scheduling and changes to the schedule to ensure smooth patient flow
*Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
*Scheduling appointments using PayDC EMR.
*Back of office organization and tasks
*Collect payments and provide receipts to patients, maintaining accurate accounting for the end of the day
*Checking insurance benefits and submitting insurance authorizations and explaining this information to patients.
*Assisting the doctor in taking histories, running therapies, stretching patients and teaching exercises

*Is able to prioritize while ALWAYS putting patients first
*Enjoys being busy and taking initiative to improve office functionality where and when needed
*Professional and fun
*Willing to hold babies or play with toddlers when needed as we serve a lot of children and new moms
Required Experience:
-High School Diploma
-1 year of experience as a Chiropractic receptionist/assistant, medical receptionist, or Front desk manager preferred.
-Computer skills and proficiency required
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
-Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
-Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
