We strive to grow our team and build upon our representation within the Hocking Hills area. We are looking for a dedicated cleaner that understands our culture and can execute the quality and standards our guests have come to expect. Our team strongly suggests you apply considering the following:
Duties:
- Laundry, including striping dirty linens, handling dirty towels and resetting beds and bathrooms in a timely manner.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, all hard surfaces, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers and mirrors
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including grills, outside decks and hot tubs
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines with attention to detail to ceiling fans, baseboards, under furniture, etc.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Maintain organization throughout the cabin, including standard of care for supplies, linens, appliances, furniture and all kitchenware inventory
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to your assigned project
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work and hot tub chemicals is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team evolve to policy changes
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects, if required
Skills:
- Housekeeping management
- Sanitation
- Customer service
- Balance hot tub chemicals to keep water balanced, clear and sanitized
- Custodial work experience
- Floor care knowledge (e.g., waxing, buffing, appropriate product use)
- General cleaning skills (e.g., organization, dusting, sweeping)
- Carpet cleaning experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience in home, hotel or commercial cleaning (preferred but not required)
