What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Relations Coordinator position at Boomerang Healthcare?
The goal of the Provider Relations Coordinator is to track, manage, and complete all communication coming from BHC’s referral, nurse case managers and adjusters. This includes working with the clinics, providers and referrals sources on completing the requests, communicating to everyone involved on status updates, monitoring outcomes, and escalating requests and complaints when needed.

What you will do:
- Oversee requests from referral sources, including attorneys, nurse case managers and adjusters, ensuring all appropriate staff are aware of work requested and the request is completed.
- Upload tasks and create alerts in IMS to coordinate tasks with providers and site employees.
- Monitor tickets in Zendesk to make sure requests are responded to in a timely fashion and outcomes are tracked.
- Work with account reps on attorney requests to make sure relationships stay strong.
- Work with the clinical team on P&S report tracking and completion.
- Creation of calendar invites to track when requests are due and when tasks will be completed.
- Escalate sensitive referral concerns to the Provider Relations Manager.
- Work with RCM and Carrier Relations on obtaining Continuity of Care when needed.
- Note patterns in referral requests and complaints and report to inform possible Operational changes.
- Identify common concerns and questions from referral sources and create macros in Zendesk for easy responding.
- Aid Provider Relations Manager in ad hoc projects, and assignments.
- Attending weekly team meetings, training courses and report on queue status to manager.
- Maintain a 30-day close out of requests that require provider involvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of office administration duties, health care setting preferred
- Ability to multitask and organize data
- Ability to manage a high volume of requests and multitask between various requests.
- Ability to follow directives
- Excellent customer service
- Proficient skills in Microsoft office suite- Excel, Work, Outlook, Teams, Zendesk
- Efficient with time management
$22.00 to $26.00 Hourly
