POSITION OVERVIEW

Perform general and preventive maintenance inspections. Maintain and repair attractions and equipment as assigned on various attractions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform required basic facility and/or maintenance repairs on all attractions.
• Perform maintenance and repair of small engines and electronic parts.
• Perform routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance as required.
• Ensure all manufacturer safety bulletins are reviewed and action taken in a timely manner.
• Ensure all attraction ride speeds are set to Company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform tasks in accordance with ASTM safety standards.
• Document in logbooks for completion of inspections, correction action and/or repairs made.
• Respond timely to calls for maintenance checks and attractions shut down; diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Demonstrate the ability to be courteous and accountable in all situations.
• Other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager, Director of Maintenance, and/or other members of management.

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver license.
• At least two years of maintenance and/or mechanical experience required.
• Working knowledge of small engines and mechanical devices AIMS, NAARSO, IAAPA, or other industry certifications is a plus.
• Contractors License or Certified Welder is a plus.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, see.
• Must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move maintenance equipment (up to 250 pounds) using proper equipment, climb ladders, strength required to repair, clean, and maintain the facility systems, machines, and equipment.
• Must be able to work exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
