RV Park Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The KOA RV Park Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the RV park, ensuring guests have exceptional camping experience while maintaining high operational and financial standards. This role involves managing staff, maintaining facilities, providing excellent customer service, and handling administrative duties to ensure the park runs smoothly and profitably.

Park Operations Management:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of RV park operations, including reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest services.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of park facilities, including restrooms, campsites, recreation areas, and utility hookups.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair work to ensure the park remains in excellent condition.
• Enforce Park policies and rules to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Staff Management:

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise park staff, including front desk associates, maintenance personnel, and housekeeping staff.
• Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak and off-peak times.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive and motivated team culture.

Guest Relations:

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere to ensure a positive guest experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Promote Park events, activities, and amenities to enhance guest engagement.

Financial Management:

• Manage the park’s budget and ensure revenue goals are met through effective cost control and revenue-generating activities.
• Oversee reservation systems, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Identify opportunities for increasing profitability, such as offering promotions, upselling amenities, or adding new services.

Marketing and Community Engagement:

• Promote the park through local partnerships, social media, and advertising campaigns.
• Represent the KOA RV Park in the local community to build relationships with businesses, tourism boards, and other organizations.
• Plan and implement special events or activities to attract guests and increase park occupancy.

Administrative Duties:

• Prepare and submit operational reports, including occupancy rates, revenue, and expense summaries, to ownership or management.
• Maintain compliance with KOA brand standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory and order supplies needed for park operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma

Supervisory experience a plus

Must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain an alcohol awareness card.

Must have previous property management experience.
