Slot Technician II

• Provides superior guest service, positively effects interactions with external and internal guests and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions.
• Replaces parts and circuit board which have caused malfunctions, may repair some circuit boards.
• Utilizes shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
• May act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
• May provide training to lesser experienced technicians or trainees.
• Performs general and preventive maintenance slot machine inspection and machine moving and installation in accordance with established procedures.
• These duties and others as assigned.

• This position requires the ability to bend, twist, squat, reach and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs so as to be able to move slot machines and perform all necessary repairs to them in the shop as well as on the casino floor.
• This position is at times subjected to hazards such as electrical shocks.
• Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates/trainees.
• Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Must be able to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
• Must be able to identify problem areas and make all necessary repairs to machines.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively with guests as well as all levels of team members.
