JOB PURPOSE :
Performs maintenance and repairs on bowling equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintains bowling lanes, pinsetters, pins, ball returns, bowling balls, bowling shoes, scoring equipment and all other related mechanical components.
Performs regular servicing and preventative maintenance procedures on all bowling equipment.
Clean, repair and adjust automated scoring equipment. Identifies replacement parts and supplies; prepares orders.
Performs major rebuilds and overhauls of equipment as necessary.
May participate in planning servicing / maintenance budgets and repair programs.
Maintains accurate records of parts, costs and machine performance.
Train pin chaser employees.
Work hours are 45 hours a week.
Need to be available some evenings and weekends.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge of bowling and pinsetter equipment.
Ability to use basic hand tools, lubrication equipment, meters, power tools.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems on sophisticated machinery and to perform precision mechanical and electrical adjustments.
Ability to work in safe and efficient manner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience in maintaining and repairing bowling and pinsetter equipment preferred.
Completion of Brunswick training program preferred.
Sitting, standing, walking, driving, squatting / kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing / pulling, twisting / bending, lifting / carrying up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift, talking, hearing, and seeing.
Spends most time indoors with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures for one hour plus. Possible exposure to distracting / uncomfortable noise levels. Risk of bodily injury from mechanical parts, electricity, etc.
