POSITION SUMMARY
Obtains two dimensional ultrasonic recordings, and Doppler and color flow analysis of the heart and related structures for use by Physician in diagnosis of heart abnormalities and disease.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: EQUIPMENT/TOOLS: Operates cardiac ultrasound (echo) equipment, as well as office equipment such as computers, printers, copy machines, calculator, facsimile, and scanners. WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical working conditions involve sitting, working at a computer, walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, pushing equipment and wheelchairs, assisting in positioning and lifting patients. Vision must be correctable to view computer screens and read printed information. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
