Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and a desire to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling food products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the coffee industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with cash handling is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.28 per hour
