What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Estimator position at Boot Recruit?
This is a full-time role for an Estimator in Commercial Construction. The Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, site visits, cost management, communication, building and maintaining client relationships and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully estimating commercial projects ranging from <$100K to $10M for a commercial general contractor. This role will be in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Must be knowledgeable in all the following: civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, interior & exterior building wall systems. Must Have good organizational and management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications
- Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills
- Cost Management and Budgeting skills
- 6-8 years of experience estimating for a general contractor on projects ranging from $100K to $10M.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in the construction industry
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree in Architectural, engineering or construction course work and/or degree preferred.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
