Job Summary :
The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) project, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and funding requirements on their Time-Limited Subsidy (TLS) program. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, management of rental assistance practices, and compliance for all TLS program participants.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all accounting functions related to the LAHSA project, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Manage a team of Senior Accountants, overseeing the management, disbursement, and compliance of rental assistance and other financial assistance to participants.
- Generate financial and programmatic reports on various funding sources.
- Manage the annual audit process for the TLS program.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard project funds and disbursements.
