Position Summary
This role will serve as a member of the Document Control Team for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project in the Baltimore area.
Position Requirements
- Support and assist in managing engineering documents on various projects in accordance with government regulations and company procedures.
- Responsible for processing internal and external distribution of engineering documentation on incoming and outgoing workflows, and preparing transmittals for document distribution, as directed.
- Other duties include reviewing and/or conducting quality checks of documents, as needed; configuring, updating, and maintaining engineering document management systems and permissions; and updating and maintaining various distribution matrixes.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information management, information technology, data management, or computer information systems is preferred, though not required.
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a document controller or related field; advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others
individually or in a team environment. - Perform work safely and effectively.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work
overtime and weekends as required. - Detail-oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
- Identify and utilize the correct tools, systems, and techniques to index, file, and control engineering documents.
