AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator

Key Role

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with IT system administration using Microsoft and Linux platforms
• Experience in system administration support and management for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
• Experience supporting development and test teams in AWS environments, including Kubernetes and traditional RHEL servers
• Knowledge of maintenance on AWS cloud infrastructure, including patching, STIG, or upgrade processes
• Ability to manage and operate workloads on AWS systems
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an IT or computer science field
• Ability to obtain IAT II Level certification before start date
  
  

Additional Qualifications

• 1 years of experience with Container Orchestration or application deployment
• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework, networking, and security services
• Knowledge of tools like Diode, Lambda, and Terraform
• Security Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
