Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Configuration Management Specialist to support our Hypersonic Testing and Development programs. As a key member of our team, you will apply basic Configuration Management (CM) principles as directed by the client. Your responsibilities will include identifying, cataloging, and archiving current and historical programmatic and engineering documentation into a product lifecycle management tool.
Key Responsibilities:
* Route and track engineering artifacts through entire CM process
* Provide timely responses for requests for active and archived engineering artifacts
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1 years of experience with using PLM tools
* Experience with chairing or contributing to a change control board (CCB)
* Ability to maintain a robust process with continuous improvement to increase process efficiency using CM processes
* Ability to travel 10% of the time
* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
* HS diploma or GED and 4 years of experience with CM, or Bachelor's degree and 1 years of experience with CM
Additional Qualifications
The following skills are highly desirable:
* Experience with Teamcenter
* Experience with engineering or hardware CM
* Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
* Experience with reviewing government documents, briefs, and engineering drawings
* Knowledge of technical data for the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems
* Knowledge of other system engineering disciplines
* Knowledge of Cameo and Inventor
* Configuration Management (CM) Certification
