As a lead program and project manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding your defense project, your client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the IT Transformation space, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. You Have:
10 years of experience in program and project management
Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies, government agencies, identifying and managing risk across projects and on a program level
Knowledge of scaled agile and scrum
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Project Management Institute (PMP), Scrum Alliance, and Scaled Agile Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience in project planning and execution, such as assisting in developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management, overseeing all phases of project execution from initiation to closure
Knowledge of team leadership, delegating tasks effectively
Ability to provide mentorship, and address team challenges
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and risk mitigation
Ability to maintain open communication with key stakeholders, proactively manage expectations, and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle
Ability to identify potential project risks, develop contingency plans, and actively monitor for issues to minimize their impact

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
