Medical Billing Lead

Position Overview:

BoozmanHof Regional Eye Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical billing and collections background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the medical billing department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims.
• Manage and mentor a team of billing specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Monitor and analyze billing and collection activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA and other healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, including patient services and finance, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Handle complex billing issues and disputes, working with insurance companies and patients to resolve them promptly.
• Prepare and present regular reports on billing performance and key metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, codes, and insurance practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
