As Campaign Analyst, you’ll be responsible for building and executing campaigns to our customer base as part of the Customer Lifecycle & Retention team. The team’s objective is to generate sustainable and profitable revenue growth by acquiring new customers and retaining existing customer base. Team objectives are delivered by delivering targeted customer activities following “Right customers, right content, right time through the right channels”. In this role you’ll undertake detailed quantitative analyses of consumer databases and external data sources and develop a data driven campaign insight into customers, their behaviours, buying preferences and patterns. You’ll also identify and communicate initiatives via various campaign channels to enhance the positioning and offering of products and services to customers. About the Role Ownership: Responsible for designing, building, and delivering below the line campaigns and delivering on the campaign roadmap Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring all campaigns created follows brand objectives and meets campaign KPIs Responsible for selection of data compliant with GDPR and adherence to marketing preferences for direct contact with customers Campaign Execution: Responsible for building complex logical campaign workflows that drive business goals for managing customers contacts Translate the business requirements on campaigns briefs into a data mining and data processing activity Perform pre-campaign data analysis to generate customer insights for target groups Responsible for building target groups and utilising customer models to enrich the data sets Creation of workflows using Selection, Suppression, Segmentation, Sampling, and produce accurate error free final output lists and deliver to different destination channels (Calls /eMail/SMS/Mobile/Web/Direct Mail) Creation of control groups for each campaign to allow for effective evaluation Managing the inbound real-time marketing tool (BestNextAction) to ensure offers are created, tested, and deployed across the inbound channels (Call Centre, Digital, Sales) Work on migration of existing campaigns into new campaign platform Conduct robust tests to identify and implement campaign improvements and workflow optimisation Build target groups and input into campaign design to ensure the most effective structure for campaign evaluation is achieved, and assist in post campaign analysis Implement the change recommended by post campaign analysis on all campaign workflows Stakeholder engagement: Working closely with CVM Planning and Research team to create a complete view of the impact of activities Work with CVM Planners to understand the campaign briefs, feasibility of campaign execution, data dependencies and content requirements Work with CVM Planners to manage prioritisation of all campaigns ensuring alignment with business needs Liaise with Customer Operations to ensure capacity within channels is available for campaign execution Working with the Dialler Manager within vendors to ensure lead lists are provided as per agreed SLA’s and that data is accurate Ensure content readiness with Marketing and Digital teams for the scheduled campaigns Data: Perform complex data analysis or data crunching to support and identify the campaign requirements Leveraging strong technical skills (in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and SQL) to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of data from a variety of complex data sources Work with the Analytics team to embed and productionise models for campaign targeting About You At least 4 years’ experience working in a commercial environment with large volumes of customer data focusing on customer insights, marketing campaigns, customer reporting, etc Experience working on selection of campaign tools such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud, SAP, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Unica, Chordiant etc Strong technical skills and experience (2 years) using SQL, SAS or R to extract, manipulate and merge large volumes of customer behavioural or transactional data from a variety of source systems (e.g. SQL Teradata, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, MYSQL etc) Logical thinker with ability to take a campaign requirement from design to build while being innovative in the techniques used to achieve outcome Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset Effective communicator Highly organised and deadline driven Problem solver with data at core of solution Bord Gáis Energy are committed to placing equality, diversity, care and respect at the heart of our policies and everyday practices.
