Job Summary
Supports the day-to-day operations of the branch in providing support and coordination of logistics and services to meet our customer’s needs. Provides coordination, tracking, planning including: job trailers, job boxes, VMI trailers and other mobile storage solutions. Coordinates Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) functions.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Provides coordination, tracking, planning, set up and take down of job trailers, job boxes, VMI trailers and other mobile storage solutions.
- Coordinates and performs Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) functions including Supplytrax set up, scanning, organization and delivery. This work may occur in the office or at job sites and customer store rooms.
- Coordinates value added services and special programs for strategic business relationship customers.
- Maintains a clean and safe driving record.
Non-essential Functions
- May also act as a backup for the warehouse.
- Acts as back up for customer service representatives.
- Assists with documenting Total Customer Cost Management (TCCM) savings scorecards for the services performed.
- Assists with and coordinate material kitting services.
- Assists with logistics coordination and delivery communications with BSE warehouse, drivers, contractors and customer.
- Assists with quality assurance and on time delivery processes.
- Assists with process development and documentation of BSE’s value-added services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a four-year business, industrial distribution or related degree preferred or the equivalent in work experience.
- Prefer a minimum of two years of prior customer service or sales experience with knowledge of business processes and procedures with a high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Prefer advanced working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and organize.
- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
