Partner Manager, Top 18+ Creators

Patreon is a media and community platform where creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. Over 300k creators are cultivating fandoms and building their businesses each month. Creators can offer free memberships to fans looking to explore more of their work, paid memberships to give access to exclusive media and community, or sell directly to fans with Shops.

Ultimately our goal is simple : fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with :

8B earned since Patreon's inception

30M free new memberships in the first year of launching that option, and

10M fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Partner Manager, Top Creators to support our mission.

This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

This role is also open to those based in Los Angeles remotely.

About the Role

What you will do :

Build trusted creator relationships

Work with our largest 18 creators and earn their trust that the Patreon platform and team is essential to unlocking the earnings and connection with their fan base.

Partner with Trust and Safety, Legal, Policy and Compliance

Be a key voice in the room on decisions that affect our 18 creators and co-develop resources for how best to support them.

Partner with Product

Work to expand our feature offerings to Patreon’s 18 creators, ensuring their voices are heard.

Drive earnings and product adoption

Accelerate each creator’s growth trajectory by coaching them on product features and maximizing long-term retention of existing members.

Level up creators’ product mastery

Coach creator teams on how to use the Patreon platform and new product launches.

Creatively execute on cross-functional solutions

Work with creators to address their unique business-critical needs through motions like enrolling in product testing and setting up feedback sessions.

Inspire evangelism for Patreon

Translate investments into strategic creators into advocacy for Patreon.

Skills and experience you possess :

3 years of experience in creator success or creator management

Experience managing deep, long-term partnerships with a small portfolio, particularly with creators making sensitive 18 content.

3 years of experience in 18 content and / or trust and safety management

Comfortable viewing sensitive content on a daily basis.

Product and revenue expansion

Proven success in an environment with revenue and / or product adoption growth targets.

Applying data insights to customer needs

Translating insights about performance into actionable steps for customers.

Cross-functional partnerships

Strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various teams.

Projects you may work on :

Revamp a creator’s tiers to drive member acquisition and sustainability.

Partner with a creator to develop a plan for content and promotion for a major launch.

Identify creators for early testing of new product features and ensure a positive experience.

Advocate for creator feedback to product teams and influence strategies.

Design processes for identifying and addressing top creators with violative content.
