Starting Rate: $19.93 an hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists Purchasing Supervisor in overseeing organizations purchasing function to secure the highest quality products and services at the most competitive prices
2. Creates purchase orders for all products, including food, beverage marketing, information technology and casino supplies.
3. Evaluate and selects vendors at the discretion of directors and managers
4. Maintain procurement records and system inventory
5. Assists with period end physical inventory counts
6. Expedites delivery of goods items and services
7. Contacts suppliers to place orders; ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery requirements are met
8. Interfaces internally with employees and co-workers to determine exactness of materials/services
9. Maintains up-to-date working knowledge of materials and sources of supplies
10. Maintains the wardrobe area and uniforms for team members.
11. Promptly provide day to day repairs and alterations of uniforms for team members.
12. Accurately measure new team members for uniforms to ensure that uniforms are ready for their start date.
13. Launder items for casino as needed.
14. Accurately maintain information in various logs, including: sewing logs, shift communication logs, departmental uniform logs, and maintains records of items borrowed.
15. Complete monthly inventory of all uniform room materials and supplies.

EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Business and/or combination of work experience
EXPERIENCE: 2 years in a purchasing environment
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to maneuver in the casino, visual acuity to observe and react to handle customer questions and complaints. Must be able to stand and/or walk for minimal of 7 1\2 hours per day. Have good dexterity in fingers. Must be able to stretch, bend, twist and reach. Must be able to read, write and speak basic English. Must be able to lift up to 50 plus pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Work in casino operations containing second hand smoke, high noise level and bright/flashing lights. Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to pass a purchasing aptitude math, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook Express tests.
