Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials based on company needs, sales forecasts, and usage trends.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to get the best pricing and lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Track supplier performance, address delays, and resolve any issues that arise.
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Analyze slow-moving or outdated materials and recommend ways to manage them.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier agreements.
- Assist with cost-saving projects, internal process improvements, and vendor negotiations.
- Support freight coordination, purchasing reports, and sales team travel arrangements when needed.
Qualifications:
