What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator/Steel Fabricator position at BORGA Steel Buildings and Components?
BORGA Steel is hiring due to solid growth in our metal building and structure business! We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of experienced Welders and Fabricators in our 90,000 Square Ft Manufacturing Facility.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret detailed orders and drawings
- Perform quality checks on parts.
- Effective communicator with all members on the team.
- Prepare materials for use.
- Prepare finished parts for shipment.
- Coordinate the movement of tools and materials on the production floor.
- Perform general shop housekeeping, organize and maintain inside and outside of the shop.
- Maintain shop equipment, machines, and work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
One year of work experience operating similar equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be continually required to stand and walk.
- You must lift and carry boxes and utilize pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts and dollies, and small hand tools.

Pay starts at $19.50/hour DOE.
