2nd Shift Molding Operator

Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for the operation of the Molding Line in accordance with Borgers USA safety, quality and production standards while meeting productivity and efficiency requirements.

1.0 Pay:

· Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a pay increase to $18.00 per hour after 30 days.

· Shift premium is .50 from 2 pm to 10pm and .75 from 10pm to 6:05am.

· Time and a half after 40 hours worked.

· Double time after 48 hours worked.

2.0 Work Schedule

· Work Monday through Friday, weekend overtime as needed per production needs.

· 8 hour shifts – 2:00pm to 10:05pm

3.0 Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

· U-Nut Assembly.

· Secondary Assembly.

· Verifies part quality using gauges or fixtures.

· Maintains 5S standards throughout workstation while complying with environmental goals and objectives.

· Other duties as assigned.

7.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Entry level position with paid on the job training.

8.0 Credentials and Experience:

· High School diploma or equivalent in experience or education.

9.0 Special Requirements

· Authorization to work and reside in the United States.

10.0 Physical Requirements

· Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

· Ability to lift and carry items for short distances:

o less than 10 pounds – frequently

o less than 20 pounds – occasionally

o greater than 20 pounds – infrequently

• Small motor skills including ability to grasp, control and use objects or tools.
• Fine motor skills including manipulation of small objects.
