What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Manager- Hardware position at Bosch Group?
The Product Manager will identify new opportunities and translate needs from users into new product concepts and ranges. This role will require close collaboration with engineering / R&D marketing sales and suppliers. Additional responsibilities include product development and portfolio management of current and new air conditioning products. This product manager will primarily focus on hardware products. The Product Manager will fully support product life cycle management through the TimeToMarket product development process. Results include but are not limited to; profit / loss calculations marketing plans sales & volume forecasting development of new product pipeline and other support metrics.
Your Job Responsibilities will include :
- Analyzing North American HVAC market trends and potentials in cooperation with the different production sites worldwide.
- Gathering and synthesizing product requirements based on customer market competitor insights and user data. Ensure these benefits are distinctively positioned to overcome real world customer problems.
- Collaboration with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales engineering legal marketing manufacturing customer support operations and external partners to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Working with product development teams (engineering project management) to ensure hardware experiences are brought to market as specified.
- Providing market summaries including trends competitive landscape and regulatory updates.
- Actively participating in the new product development projects through the TimeToMarket process including being responsible to coordinate the market requirements pricing industrial design product information and training.
- Coordinating and / or completing marketing analysis on competitive products prior to development efforts to identify unique selling points costs / pricing and technical specifications.
- Thought leader for product innovation within the broader organization.
