Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineering Lead to join our team as a Software Architect for airbag systems. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions for critical safety systems.
Your primary focus will be on architecting and designing the customer library, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. You will also develop, analyze, and refine software requirements to align with project objectives and make critical technical decisions impacting the system's architecture and design.
You will provide technical guidance and support to the development team as the internal primary point of contact for software-related questions. Effective collaboration with global teams is essential to ensure successful project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Experience: 5 years of Software Engineering experience, 5 years of experience with C language, Compiler, linker, and debugger, 3 years of experience with microcontrollers, and 3 years of experience in Automotive software development
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working on global projects with global teams, Strong problem-solving skills, Experience mentoring junior engineers, Explaining and training complex technical problems, Analytic Methods (8D), Process Knowledge (CMMI, A-SPICE, CC-PS processes), System Overview (including HW and Sensors)
