What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Project Management Lead position at Hanon Systems?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, track and oversee the project
- Lead the global project team per the schedule, tracking tasks alongside activities and ensuring the timely completion
- Regular reporting to internal and external customers
- Manage engineering risks
- Within the above activities, close attention to design, development, testing and quality is required. Constant interaction with the entire engineering team and customers, is part of daily activities
- Oversee delivery of and take primary responsibility for the relevant project documentation
Years of Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the automotive industry
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
Desires Competencies and Skills:
- Experience in functional leadership roles
- ASPICE experience – strongly desired
- Strong project management skills - PMI certification desired
- Experience with automotive tier-1 or OEM product development processes - required
- Knowledge of compressors - desired
- Good communication skills
- Proficient with project management and product development tracking tools (i.e. Easy Redmine)
Special Requirements:
- Potential for minimal international and domestic travel
