Facilities Maintenance Technician
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing routine building and grounds maintenance and repair tasks. Performance of tasks in one or more but not limited to the following fields (carpentry, painting, plumbing, lighting, inspection, etc.) Perform general cleaning and other tasks assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.
- Perform routine carpentry; remodel and build structures as required, install / hang counters, cabinets, shelves, picture, mirrors, or other related items.
- Repair various plumbing fixtures; including unclogging of toilets and urinals.
- Replace lamps in lighting fixtures and indicators.
- Install / replace ceiling tiles, door pulls, locks / deadbolts.
- Apply paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer or other protective / decorative finishes to various surfaces.
- Scrape, sand fill / prepare surfaces for painting; patch dry wall as needed.
- Scrape, chip away and repair floors and concrete as needed.
- Apply decals and signage to various surfaces.
- Repair fence, entrance ways, doors as needed.
- Organize recyclable materials for recycling.
- Removal of oil and watery oil by means of pumping and mopping.
- Various daily / weekly / monthly monitoring of facility equipment, and grounds.
- Support and contribute to FCM Projects
- PM Facilities HVAC systems
- PM Industrial Process Cooling Systems
Qualifications
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
