Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Calibration Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 38000 Hills Tech Dr, Farmington Hills, MI 48331. Act as technical interface between customer and internal experts. Define Testing, Software, and Calibration project requirements. Overall coordination for dataset preparation, assessment, quality checks, and release to the customer. Lead a project team of cross functional Calibration and Software Engineers. Work with internal and external customers to design and release calibrations to meet customer design and performance requirements, while meeting all regulations. Support project management with calibration development activities to ensure the project is kept on-time, on-spec, and on-budget. Create and Maintain Projects in MCR (project effort/cost planning and recording tool), Order and Track Prototypes. Calibrate project requirements analysis, project cost and efforts estimation, support negotiation, and preparation of contracts. Project acquisition support to the sales team on technical aspects, timeline preparation, and tracking. Provide technical expertise on improvements and development of new algorithms through rapid software prototyping design and experimentation. Provide technical direction to support personnel by leading root cause analysis and error correction of system-level problems relating to calibration, controls, hardware, software, and architecture. Support Series and Field topics related to calibration. Support strategy development related for calibration and system definition to meet future emission and legislative requirements. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Senior Project Manager, or an occupation involving Calibration Engineering. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) ETAS tools (INCA and MDA); (2) Calibrating Diesel/Gasoline powertrain systems; (3) Multiple development project cycles; (4) Calibration methodology; and (5) Calibrating various software functions. Telecommuting: Hybrid, 2 days a week work from home. Less than 10% travel required.
