What are the responsibilities and job description for the Museum Communications Consultant position at Boscobel Restoration, Inc.?
Boscobel House and Gardens' is looking for a Consulting Communications Manager with skill in graphic design. This role develops and executes communication strategies that promote the museum's mission and impact, expand audience, drive attendance and sales, cultivate donations, and elevate its reputation amongst stakeholders and the broader community. The CCM integrates marketing, publicity, and public affairs efforts across traditional and digital media, mail, signage, cross-promotional partnerships, and through personal contact with press, stakeholders, and community members. They are responsible for adapting messaging based on a variety of channels for general and/or specialist audiences, with a voice that communicates inclusivity, expertise, and the highest standards of professionalism.
The CCM will have a strong background in communications strategy, related technologies, and analytics, along with organizational skills. They must work effectively with colleagues in other departments and counterparts in partner organizations, and directs contracted web and graphic designers, photographers, videographers, printers, PR/marketing consultants, etc. The Communications Manager reports to the Executive Director.
